Definition

タウンハウスは、複数の階があり、隣の家と壁を共有している連続した住宅で、それぞれに専用の玄関があります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

都市や郊外の住宅市場でよく使われます。独立した一戸建てや集合住宅（マンション・アパート）とは違い、各戸が隣と繋がっていますが、専用の玄関があります。「連棟式住宅」とも呼ばれることがあります。
