Definição

城鎮是比城市小但比村莊大的有人居住的地方，通常有自己的地方政府和服務。

既用於正式又用於非正式場合；‘town’通常指比城市小但有地方政府的小型城鎮。常見搭配有‘stown’, ‘town center’。不同於較大的‘city’。也有‘going to town’表示非常投入做某事的用法。
