Definition

तौलिया कपड़े का एक टुकड़ा होता है जिसका उपयोग शरीर, हाथ, बर्तन या दूसरी गीली चीज़ों को सुखाने के लिए किया जाता है। अलग-अलग कामों के लिए अलग तरह के तौलिए होते हैं, जैसे नहाने का तौलिया, हाथ पोंछने का तौलिया और पेपर टॉवल।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

यह आम तौर पर countable noun है: 'a towel' / 'two towels'। इसके साथ अक्सर 'bath towel', 'hand towel', 'kitchen towel' और 'paper towel' जैसे शब्द आते हैं। 'Towel' ज़्यादातर noun है, लेकिन 'towel off' का मतलब तौलिये से खुद को सुखाना होता है।
