けん引する

Definition

車や船などの重い物をロープやチェーンで他の車両に繋いで引っ張ること。

主に故障した車やボートなどを引っ張る場合に使います。「pull」（一般的な引く）とは区別します。「tow truck」や「tow away」などの表現でよく使います。

My car broke down, so I had to tow it to the garage.

車が故障したので、それをガレージまで**けん引しました**。
