観光や楽しみのために他の場所を訪れる人のこと。仕事や生活のためではありません。

通常は中立的な言葉ですが、観光客特有の行動を強調する時やユーモラスに使う場合もあります。「tourist spot」「tourist attraction」「tourist trap」などと一緒によく使います。
