旅遊業是指人們為了休閒、度假或觀光而前往不同地方的活動或產業。

多用於正式場合或商業語境，如「旅遊業發展」、「生態旅遊」。不會用於形容個人出遊（不能說「我在做旅遊」，應說「我去旅行」、「我去度假」）。
