Usage Notes (Japanese)

「tougher」は物（固い）、状況（困難）、人（精神的に強い）に対して使われます。'harder'は物理的な硬さを意味することが多いですが、「tougher」は我慢強さや耐久力も含みます。よく使う例：'tougher rules', 'tougher meat', 'life is getting tougher'。
