Definition

トングは、先がつながった2本の長い棒からなる道具で、物をつかんだり持ち上げたりするために使います。特に料理や食事を盛り付けるときに使われます。

英語では多くの場合複数形 'tongs' が使われます。日本語では「トング」。体の部位「舌（tongue）」と間違えないよう注意。
