무덤은 주로 중요한 인물이나 부유한 사람의 시신이나 유해를 안치하기 위해 지은 규모가 큰 구조물이나 공간을 의미합니다.

'무덤'은 일반적인 땅에 묻는 '묘'보다 더 크고 역사적·기념적인 장소에 쓰입니다. '왕의 무덤', '가족 무덤' 등으로 자주 나옵니다. 반려동물에는 사용하지 않습니다.
