'Tolls' son tarifas que se pagan para usar una carretera, puente o túnel. También puede referirse al número de personas afectadas o fallecidas en un evento.

'Tolls' como sustantivo suele referirse a tarifas de carreteras, pero también se usa para indicar número de víctimas en noticias ('death tolls'). No confundir con 'tools' (herramientas), que suena parecido.
