Definition

硬くて平らな素材でできた板で、通常はセラミック製。床や壁、屋根を覆うのに使われます。また、ゲームやコンピュータのインターフェースで使う四角い小さな画像も指します。

主にバスルームやキッチンの床、壁、屋根のカバーに使います。IT分野ではゲームやインターフェースの小さな四角（タイル）も指します。'ceramic tile','roof tile','floor tile' などとよく使われます。'style'と混同しないように。
