"throne" in Spanish
Definition
Un trono es la silla especial que usa un rey, una reina u otro gobernante en ocasiones formales. También puede referirse al poder real o al cargo de gobernante.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa sobre todo en contextos históricos, monárquicos, literarios o de fantasía. Expresiones comunes: 'sit on the throne', 'take the throne' y 'the heir to the throne'. Puede referirse tanto al asiento físico como, en sentido abstracto, a la autoridad real.
