Definition

喉（のど）は首の前側の内側部分で、食べ物や空気が通る場所です。痛みや乾燥、話すことや歌うことについてもよく使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「sore throat」は喉の痛み、「dry throat」は喉の渇き、「clear your throat」は咳払い、「a lump in your throat」は感情で喉が詰まる感じを表します。「neck」（首の外側）と「throat」（内側の通路）を間違えないように注意してください。
