"thorns" in Bengali
Definition
গাছের ডাঁটা বা শাখায় যে ধারালো ও সূচালো অংশ জন্মায়, যেমন গোলাপ গাছে দেখা যায়। কখনও সমস্যার কথাও বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
সাধারণত গোলাপসহ কিছু গাছে 'কাঁটা' বলা হয়। 'a thorn in my side' বলতে একটি বিরক্তিকর সমস্যা বোঝায়। 'spines' ও 'prickles' এর সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
