汝の（なんじの、古語）

Definition

「thine（ダイン）」は「あなたのもの」や「あなたの」といった意味で、古い英語で使われます。主に聖書や古典文学、詩で登場します。

現代英語では使われず、ほとんど聖書や詩、古典文学でしか見かけません。「thy」と同じく古語という位置づけですが、「thine」は母音の前や文末で使われます（例：'the book is thine'）。日常会話では使いません。

Thine is the kingdom and the power.

**汝の**は王国と力なり。

Is this book thine?

この本は**汝の**か？

Thine eyes are brighter than the stars.

**汝の**目は星よりも輝いている。

Thine honor cannot be taken away.

**汝の**名誉は奪えない。
