そこあそこいる／ある（存在を表す）

Definition

場所や位置を指したり、物や人が存在することを示すときに使う言葉です。

'there is/are' の形で存在・有無を表す。'here'（こちら）と対になることが多い。

Look over there, near the tree.

あの木の近くの**そこ**を見て。

There are five apples on the table.

テーブルの上に**りんごが5個ある**。

I will meet you there at 5 pm.

午後5時に**そこで**会おう。

Is anyone sitting there?
