녹다해동하다

Definition

얼음, 눈 또는 냉동 음식이 얼었던 상태에서 풀리거나 녹는 것. 사이가 딱딱했던 관계나 분위기가 부드러워질 때도 쓴다.

주로 얼음, 눈, 냉동식품에 사용. 관계가 화해하고 부드러워질 때도 씀. 요리에서는 냉동된 음식을 실온에 놓는 뜻. ‘melt’와 구분해서 사용.

The snow will thaw in spring.

봄이 되면 눈이 **녹을** 것이다.

Please thaw the chicken before cooking it.

요리하기 전에 닭고기를 **해동해 주세요**.
