"terrace" in Portuguese (BR)
Definition
Uma área externa plana, geralmente em um prédio ou elevada, usada para relaxar ou socializar. Também pode se referir a um pedaço plano de terreno, como degraus em uma encosta.

Comum para áreas ao ar livre em casas, restaurantes ('terraço na cobertura') ou terrenos em degraus ('terraso agrícola'). Mais formal que 'pátio' e diferente de 'varanda', que é sempre suspensa.
