建物の外や高い場所にある、くつろいだり集まったりするための平らなスペース。また、丘の斜面などに作られた段々の土地も指すことがあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

家やマンション、レストランなどでよく使います（例：'ルーフトップテラス'）。農地では「段々畑」の意味もあります。「バルコニー」とは異なります。
