Definition

テントはポールに布や他の素材を張って作る持ち運び可能な仮設のシェルターで、主にキャンプや一時的な住居として使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「テント」は仮設やキャンプなど一時的な使い方に限り使われます。常設の建物には使いません。「テントを張る」「テントで寝る」などの表現があります。
