Definition

長屋とは、主に都市部で低所得者層が住んでいた、古くて狭い部屋が集まった共同住宅です。多くの家族が一つの建物に住んでいました。

『長屋』や『安アパート』は、主に歴史的・社会的文脈で使われ、現代の新しいアパートには使いません。
