किसी की या किसी चीज़ की देखभाल करना (जैसे कोई व्यक्ति बाग़बानी करता है); यह भी मतलब हो सकता है कि आमतौर पर किसी प्रकार का व्यवहार करना या झुकाव रखना ('भूलने की प्रवृत्ति रखना')।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Tending' अक्सर 'to' के साथ आता है यह दिखाने के लिए कि कोई आमतौर पर कुछ करता है ('tending to be late')। क्रियापद के रूप में 'tending the garden/animals' आम है। यह 'looking after' से ज्यादा औपचारिक है। इसे 'bartending' से न मिलाएं।
