Definition

ভাড়াটিয়া হলেন এমন একজন ব্যক্তি যিনি অন্যের মালিকানাধীন বাড়ি বা ফ্ল্যাট ভাড়া নিয়ে থাকেন।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

‘Tenant’ শব্দটি সাধারণত আইনগত বা বাড়িভাড়া সংক্রান্ত পরিবেশে ব্যবহৃত হয়। ‘Tenant agreement’, ‘tenant rights’ ইত্যাদি সংকলনের সাথে দেখা যায়। ‘ভাড়াটিয়া’ ও ‘মালিক’ (owner) আলাদা তা মনে রাখুন।
