Definition

기질은 사람이 보통 어떤 성격이나 감정 상태를 보이는지, 즉 대체로 차분한지, 예민한지 등을 나타냅니다.

일시적인 감정보다 그 사람의 전반적인 성격을 표현할 때 사용합니다. 주로 설명이나 공식적인 상황에서 쓰이며, 'fiery temperament', 'artistic temperament' 같은 영어 표현과 함께 자주 등장합니다.
