Definition
Gotas de líquido que saem dos olhos quando choras, te magoas ou sentes uma emoção forte. As lágrimas podem surgir por tristeza, alegria, dor ou até por riso.

Normalmente usa-se no plural: 'tears'. Combinações comuns: 'burst into tears', 'fight back tears' e 'be in tears'. Não confundas com 'tears' no sentido de rasgões em tecido, que tem outra pronúncia.
