Definition
Gotas de líquido que saem dos olhos quando você chora, se machuca ou sente uma emoção forte. As lágrimas podem surgir por tristeza, alegria, dor ou até por rir.

Normalmente é usado no plural: 'tears'. Combinações comuns: 'burst into tears', 'fight back tears' e 'be in tears'. Não confunda com 'tears' no sentido de rasgos em tecido, que tem outra pronúncia.
