Definition

누군가에 의해 전해지는 사상, 원칙, 또는 교훈. 종교·철학·스승 등 권위 있는 인물의 지혜나 교리를 일컫는다.

대개 복수형인 '가르침들'보다 '가르침'으로 자연스럽게 쓰이고, '불교의 가르침'처럼 종교나 철학적 원칙에 사용. 학교 수업이나 일상적 '수업' 의미로는 사용하지 않음.
