'Taunt' शब्द थोड़ा औपचारिक और प्रायः नकारात्मक है। 'Tease' के विपरीत, यह प्रायः अपमानजनक होता है। 'taunt someone about', 'cruel taunt' जैसी अभिव्यक्तियाँ आम हैं। खेल या बुलिंग में सामान्य।
