一種由煤或木材製成的厚重、黑色、黏稠物質,常用於鋪路或防水錶面。

“Tar”主要作名詞使用,指道路或屋頂的瀝青,也指香煙中的有害物。不要與“tire”(輪胎)混淆。作動詞“to tar”時,指塗焦油,但很少見。
