Definition

একটি ছোট ড্রামের মতো বাদ্যযন্ত্র, যার চারপাশে ধাতব বেল বাজে। এটি হাতে বাজানো হয়, ঝাঁকানো বা চাপড়ে তালে সুর সৃষ্টি করা হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'Tambourine' সাধারণত লোকগান, স্কুল, চার্চ ও নৃত্যসংগীতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। এটি ‘ড্রাম’ বা ‘মারাকাস’ থেকে আলাদা; ড্রামে ঝনঝনে অংশ থাকে না, মারাকাস পুরোপুরি আবদ্ধ থাকে। সাধারণত বলা হয় 'play the tambourine' অর্থাৎ বাজানো।
