「タグ」とは、物の識別や整理、説明のためにつける小さな情報です。オンラインでは、写真や投稿、ファイルを見つけやすくするために付ける言葉やフレーズです。

「add tags」はデジタル投稿などでよく使われる表現。「price tags」は商品などにつける値札の意味。SNSでは「ハッシュタグ」という形式もあるが、単に「タグ」も多用される。動詞「タグ付けする」とは違う意味。
