疑う容疑者

Definition

何か（特に悪いこと）が本当かもしれないと考えること、確証がなくてもそう思うこと。また、犯罪をしたかもしれない人を指す。

'suspect that ～' の形で「～ではないかと疑う」、「suspect someone of ～」で「～の疑いをかける」。名詞の'suspect'は警察や公式な場面で使われることが多い。「doubt（疑う）」との使い分けに注意。

I suspect he is tired.

私は彼が疲れていると**疑っている**。
