Usage Notes (Bengali)

'survive an accident' অর্থ কোনো দুর্ঘটনা থেকে বেঁচে যাওয়া; 'survive on' সাধারণত সীমিত সম্পদ দিয়ে বেঁচে থাকার ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়; 'survive without' কোনো কিছুর অনুপস্থিতিতেও বেঁচে থাকার অর্থ দেয়। 'live' শুধু জীবিত থাকা বোঝায়, 'survive' মানে কষ্ট বা ঝুঁকি সত্ত্বেও টিকে থাকা।
