在某人或某物的四周，或將某物圍繞起來。也可指包圍或環繞。

可用於字面和比喻，既可“包圍建築”，也可“被朋友包圍”。常見被動用法（be surrounded）。不要與“circle”混淆，後者指繞圈動作。“Surroundings”名詞指環境。
