Definição

位於城市主要區域外圍的居住區，人們通常住在那裡並前往市中心工作或上學。

通常用複數形式。常搭配“住在”、“搬到”、“從郊區通勤”等詞語。在美國，“suburbs”多指中產階級住宅區。不要與“outskirts”（更偏遠或未開發區域）混淆。
