自分が借りている部屋やアパートを、さらに別の人に一時的に貸し出すこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

学生や長期旅行者に多い使い方。'sublet my apartment'や'sublet a room'は、自分が借りている物件を他の人に貸すという意味。大家の許可が必要な場合が多い。'sublease'も同じ意味。'relet'（一度契約が終わった後再契約する）は異なるので注意。
