学生は、学校や大学で勉強する人のことです。特に高校生や大学生など、年齢が高い学習者を指すことが多いです。

「student」より「学生」が一般的で、高校生や大学生にも使います。「pupil」は主に小学生に使われます。「大学生」「留学生」などの表現もよく使います。
