Çok fazla çaba, enerji veya güç gerektiren, zahmetli ya da yorucu bir şeyi ifade eder.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Daha çok resmi veya açıklayıcı anlatımlarda, yorucu veya yoğun efor gerektiren işler için kullanılır ('strenuous exercise', 'strenuous activity', 'strenuous effort'). Duygu ya da basit işler için kullanılmaz. 'Stressful' ile karıştırmayın.
