Terminó de moverse, de hacer algo o de causar algo; ya no continúa lo que estaba sucediendo antes.

"Stopped" es el pasado simple de "stop". Se usa para acciones (caminar, hablar), máquinas o fenómenos. Va seguido de "to" (+ verbo base) o "ing" (stopped smoking), cambiando el sentido. No confundir con "paused" (pausa temporal).
