Definition
Yerde bulunan veya inşaatta kullanılan sert kaya parçalarıdır. 'Taş' genellikle tek tek parçalar için kullanılır.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Genellikle sayılabilir: 'bir taş', 'üç taş'. Küçük ve yuvarlak taşlar için 'çakıl' daha uygun olabilir. Gündelik İngilizcede bazen 'rock' tercih edilir; 'taş atmak', 'taş duvar' gibi kalıplarda mutlaka 'taş' kullanılır.
