Definition

'stir'-এর অতীত। কিছু নাড়ানোর মাধ্যমে মিশানো বা কারো মধ্যে অনুভূতি/প্রতিক্রিয়া সৃষ্টি করা।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

এটি পদার্থগত (যেমন 'stirred the soup') ও মানসিক (যেমন 'stirred feelings') উভয় ভাবেই ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণত passive রূপে শুনতে পাওয়া যায়। 'shaken' বা 'mixed' এর সাথে গুলিয়ে ফেলা উচিত নয়; 'stirred' সাধারণত মৃদু বা ঘুরিয়ে মেশানো বোঝায়।
