아직그대로가만히

어떤 일이 지금까지 계속되거나 사실임을 나타낸다. 움직이지 않거나 조용함도 의미한다.

'아직'은 동사 앞에 자주 쓰이고, '가만히'는 움직이지 않을 때 사용한다. 'yet'이나 'already'와 헷갈릴 수 있음. '정물화'는 'still life'라고 한다.

She is still at home.

그녀는 아직 집에 있다.

The water is still and clear.

물이 아주 고요하고 맑다.

He still wants to join the team.

그는 아직 팀에 들어오고 싶어 한다.

Are you still coming to the party tonight?
