胸骨は胸の中央にある平らな骨で、肋骨と繋がり、心臓や肺を守る役割を持ちます。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
医学や生物学などの専門用語で、日常会話ではあまり使われません。「胸骨」や「ブレストボーン」とも呼ばれます。「ストーン」と混同しないように注意しましょう。
