継娘は、配偶者の前の関係からできた娘で、自分の実の子ではありません。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「継娘」は正式な表現で、「継子」や「継弟」などにも「継-」を使います。「嫁（よめ）」とは違い、実の娘でないことを明確に示す時に使います。
