仕事や軍務などのため、特定の場所に割り当てられて勤務すること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に軍人や公務員などがどこかに“配属”“駐在”される際に使う。多くは受け身の形で使われ、「located」とは異なり公式な派遣・勤務を示す。
