Definition

어떤 일을 시작하거나 어떤 일이 일어나기 시작할 때 사용합니다. 기계나 엔진을 작동시키는 의미도 있습니다.

'start work', 'start a car', 'start to do something', 'start doing something'처럼 다양한 표현에서 사용됩니다. 일정이나 행사는 현재형으로 사용됩니다. 'Begin'은 좀 더 격식있는 표현입니다.

School starts at eight every day.
