“驚人的”形容某事非常大、令人喫驚或難以置信。也可以形容一個人走路很不穩，像要摔倒一樣。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

常用來形容數字、資訊令人震驚（如 'a staggering amount'），亦可形容走路搖晃不穩。不要和“amazing”（正面驚喜）或“staggered”（錯開、喫驚）混淆。
