物を上に重ねて積んだ大きな山や束のこと。カジュアルでは「大量にある」意味でも使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

'a stack of...'で特定の並びの山を表現。カジュアルに'大量'の意味も。図書館の本棚は'stacks'とも呼ぶ。'pile'はよりラフな山。
