飛行隊や戦隊とは、軍事的に編成された航空機や軍艦、兵士の集団を指します。主に空軍や海軍で用いられる用語です。

主に軍事用語で、フォーマルな場面で使われます。'air squadrons'（航空隊）や 'naval squadrons'（海軍戦隊）としてよく見かけます。'squad'（分隊）と区別してください。
