Definition
「拍車」は、馬を進ませるためにブーツに付ける金具や、人を刺激したりやる気を起こさせるものを指します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
乗馬の本来の意味でも、比喩的にやる気・刺激の意味でも使われます。「spur on」は「～を後押しする」意味で使います。「サンアントニオ・スパーズ」等固有名詞もあり。
